Make A Garden Grow!
The Green Corn Project (GCP) is a 501(c)(3) organization that educates and assists Central Texans in growing organic food gardens. Since 1998 GCP has built over 140 organic food gardens at homes, schools, and community centers in Central Texas. Our programs help people with limited access to healthy food, grow their own vegetables in ways that are affordable, promote self-reliance, strengthen communities, and protect natural resources.
Just so has it, the Green Corn Project will be hosting a fall hoe-down. Good music & Good grub for everyone! See details below.
2011 Fall Festival - Oct 30th
 Online ticket sales now open. $35 in advance, $40 at the gate, children under 12 free. Event location: Boggy Creek Farm3414 Lyons Rd, Austin, TX 78702(Map) Join us for a delicious afternoon dedicated to Food, Music, Gardening and Farming! Over 20 fine local restaurants and food purveyors offer complimentary tastes of their artistry with local produce. 4 local musical groups provide live music from the farm house front porch. On the back porch, 3 local chefs demonstrate their food art and of course the audience eats the results! You are free to stroll the farm, visit the Hen House, and bid at our Silent Auction.
