If you're in Texas then you're not at Crossroads! That would be America's National Crossroads of America Poultry Show.
Imagine taking your Pretty Pet Partridge Penedesenca to a local poultry show and being one of over 400 entrants. What a thrill to go home with a ribbon for your pretty bird. Now imagine taking your chicken to Crossroads, in Indianapolis, Indiana. This year the Crossroads of America Poultry Club is hosting both national meets of the American Bantam Association and the American Poultry Association. This is a huge show, one of the largest in the country, with this year's entries totalling 10,430 birds, and filling two exhibition halls encompassing over 135,000 sqft. Check out Jared Curtis Bramer's blogspot for great photos and updates through the weekend!
