Take life seriously. Make a Halloween costume for your chicken!
If you want to lighten up your day, check out the Austin Backyard Poultry Meetup Group discussion thread for Halloween. We're having a Halloween costume contest for the chickens! There's a few costumes already posted that you can check out. Some are totally handcrafted and very original, some are off the rack fashions that will make you smile just the same!
It doesn't take a lot to costume your chicken, and you still have time to enter your photo before the weekend. But you'll need another set of hands for sure! If you've ever tried to photograph your chickens, you know it takes timing and lots of blurry photos. You'll find that a chicken in costume is quite an entertaining challenge. Be brave and share in the fun! The chickens surely do love the attention, and we will all most definitely enjoy the photographs!
